Account & Data Deletion Portal

📋 Data Deletion Expectations

In compliance with Google Play User Data policies, deleting your Ism: Muslim Baby Name Matcher account triggers a complete and irreversible removal of your personal profiles, preferences, and data.

What Is Deleted Permanently:

• Profile Metadata: Your Google login mappings, email addresses, display name, and avatar parameters are immediately erased.
• Swipe History: Every swipe log on the baby name database connected to your account is permanently scrubbed.
• Matches & Favorites: Your custom list of favorites and mutual pairing matches is completely cleared from our active servers.
• Custom Designs: All name artwork configurations and draft records in your cloud-saved designs directory are removed.

🛡️ Partner & Local File Protections

To maintain database stability and respect third-party privacy, certain records are processed with specialized safeguards:

• Partner Data Safety: Deleting your profile **does not** delete or corrupt your partner's account, swipes, matches, or custom designs. It securely severs the link by resetting the partner's room code to empty (`""`).
• Collaborative Data: Shared family polls survive to prevent application crashes or data loops on your partner's active device.
• Local MediaStore Assets: Any name cards or custom calligraphy you actively exported to your device's gallery (MediaStore) remain untouched, as they reside locally in your personal folder.

🔄 Google Play Subscription Management

⚠️ CRITICAL BILLING WARNING: Deleting your account inside the app or through support DOES NOT cancel your auto-renewing Google Play subscriptions. Google retains exclusive control of billing permissions. You must manually cancel active subscriptions in the Google Play Store (under your profile menu > Subscriptions) to prevent future billing.

🚶 Two Official Paths to Initiate Deletion

We provide two secure channels to complete account deletion.

• 1
  Instant In-App Deletion (Recommended):
This is the fastest, safest, and most secure route because it validates your active cryptographic token in real-time.
Steps: Open the App > Navigate to Settings/Profile > Tap the "Delete Account" button > Complete the two-stage confirmation. This initiates the atomic cloud deletion engine immediately.
• 2
  Manual Request via Support Email:
If you have already uninstalled the application or can no longer access your device, you can lodge a deletion request via our support desk.
Steps: Send an email from your registered Google Sign-In email address to orangeseedstudios.dev@gmail.com. In the subject, write "Account Deletion Request - Muslim Baby Name Matcher". In the body, please state your full name and confirm your request. Our support team will verify your identity, execute the deletion of all personal server files within 14 business days, and send a final confirmation email.

Security Note: To protect our user base, we do not support unauthenticated, instant deletion endpoints via direct web inputs, nor do we expose sensitive Firebase Admin SDK credentials on client-side web forms.
